Why Nylon Braided Cables Are the Go-To for Demanding Environments
Rene Lightfoot • May 14, 2025
Tough. Flexible. Ready for anything.
When reliability matters most, your cables need to do more than just connect, they need to endure. That’s where nylon braided cables come in. Tough, flexible, and engineered for resilience, these cables are built to handle the harshest conditions without compromising performance.
In high-wear environments like industrial automation, commercial transportation, and robotics, abrasion, UV exposure, and repeated movement can wear down ordinary cables fast. Nylon braiding offers a simple but powerful solution: an added layer of protection that stands up to the elements while maintaining the flexibility your systems require.
What makes nylon braided cables a smart choice?
🔹 Exceptional abrasion resistance for rugged use
🔹 Tangle-free flexibility that streamlines installation and routing
🔹 Longer lifespan, reducing replacement cycles and downtime
🔹 A clean, professional finish that elevates your build
At AVR Global Technologies, we specialize in creating custom connectivity solutions that are as durable as they are precise. Whether you're working in the field or on the production floor, our nylon braided cables are designed to keep your systems moving no matter what they’re up against.
Rugged. Reliable. Ready. That’s the AVR standard.
AVR Global Technologies is pleased to announce our expanded presence at SEMA 2025 in Las Vegas. This year, we will exhibit at two locations to showcase our enhanced capabilities in engineered cable assemblies, rugged wire harnesses, off-road and lighting solutions, and precision 3D-printed components. As vehicle technology advances, the need for robust supporting systems increases. We deliver reliable, application-specific solutions for telematics, fleet systems, performance builds, and custom off-road projects, all designed to meet the highest standards of durability and performance. Our Capabilities on Display: Cable Assemblies & Wire Harnesses – Designed for harsh environments, including fleet, aftermarket, and off-road installations. Engineered to withstand vibration, heat, and demanding duty cycles. Off-Road & Lighting Solutions – Integrated wiring and connector systems for auxiliary lighting, winches, and specialty equipment, ensuring consistent performance in rugged terrain. 3D-Printed Components – Custom brackets, housings, and prototype parts produced with industrial-grade printers, helping accelerate development cycles and reduce lead times. OEM & Custom Support – From prototype to production, we provide scalable solutions with direct engineering support, U.S.-based inventory, and global manufacturing reach. Quality Assurance – Every part undergoes multiple inspection points, including U.S.-based quality control, ensuring components meet performance and safety standards. Why Visit Us at SEMA: Our team has extensive experience serving automotive, fleet, and aftermarket clients. We engineer solutions tailored to your exact specifications and real-world requirements. Whether you need a custom cable harness, advanced lighting system wiring, or rapid prototyping through additive manufacturing, AVR Global Technologies has the expertise and resources to support your project. Event Details Dates: November 4–7, 2025 Location: Las Vegas Convention Center Booths: #11160 (West Hall – Telematics & Fleet Solutions) & #24751 (Central Hall – Aftermarket & Off-Road Builds) We invite you to visit our booths to discuss your project needs, view examples of our work, and explore how AVR Global Technologies can support your next innovation.
To our valued customers, partners, and industry peers, At AVR Global Technologies, we believe innovation must be actionable and measurable. As part of our ongoing commitment to delivering application-specific solutions, we are pleased to formally announce the launch of our in-house Additive Manufacturing Division. Backed by a six-figure investment in state-of-the-art hardware and manufacturing technology, AVRGT is scaling its production infrastructure to support next-generation product lines. This strategic investment empowers us to integrate smarter, faster, and more automated processes—driving innovation from factory floor to finished product. Following a 100% increase in revenue from 2023 to 2024, and with projections indicating an additional 35–38% sales growth in 2025, we continue to evolve with the needs of our industry and the expectations of our customers. Our initial investment in low-temperature FDM 3D printing in 2023 has already proven instrumental in delivering custom-engineered solutions. Building on that success, we have expanded our capabilities to include all four 3D printing technologies at both our U.S. and Brazil locations ensuring scalable, global support for complex, application-specific needs. Guided by direct customer feedback and market demand, our additive manufacturing capabilities will enhance our ability to: • Accelerate design cycles through in-house FDM/FFF, SLA/DLP, and SLS 3D print technologies. • Deliver more tailored and responsive custom solutions. • Meet highly specific requirements for industrial, automotive, and telematics sectors. • Streamline and support our sales and prototyping processes. • Designed in America, Manufactured in America. Bringing these state-of-the-art technologies in-house enable us to provide faster turnarounds, greater design flexibility, and increased cost-efficiency. It also supports our commitment to growth not just in capabilities, but in people. Over the past year, we have welcomed five new team members to support our expanding operations. We look forward to collaborating with you in even more dynamic ways as we move into this next chapter. As always, thank you for being part of the journey. Sincerely, Andy Bowman CEO, AVR Global Technologies
